David Barlow joined Heracles in January 2011 to spearhead its investment programme. With 20 years property investment experience he specialises in seeking out commercial opportunities that will provide significant returns for investors.

David joined Heracles from Aureus Property Limited, an investment and asset management company dealing in commercial projects which he founded in 2000. To date, the business has bought and sold £50 million of investments, returning over £10 million in gross profit to investors with an average IRR of 80%.

Qualifying as a chartered surveyor and planning development surveyor at Gerard Eve, David moved to private property company Albion Property Ltd before joining Chesterfield Properties Plc. Subsequently, he was a founding shareholder and the investment director of Ardwood, a joint-venture company with Delancey Estates plc, which also managed funds for GE Capital.
